Br. Theodore A. Somes, OSL

I'm Theodore. I grew up as a military dependent living in many places but made my home in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. I grew up in the United Methodist Church but was called to move to the Episcopal Church in 2020 and was confirmed in the Diocese of Pittsburgh in 2021. I served in the Marine Corps Reserve as an Infantry Rifleman before commissioning in the Army Reserves where I currently serve as a Chaplain Candidate. In my free time, I play mandolin, spend time with my beloved friends, and enjoy motorcycling. I engage my creative spirit through writing hymns and making music.

I am a graduate of Washington & Jefferson College and Virginia Theological Seminary. I am a Brother in the Order of Saint Luke and a Postulant for Holy Orders in the Episcopal Diocese of Pittsburgh.

The Rev. Marybeth Sanders-Wilson

I'm Marybeth (or Mb). I grew up in South Carolina with a sojourn in Texas. In addition to being a seminarian at Virginia Theological Seminary, I am also a mom, military spouse, musician, citizen scientist, and athlete.
I was raised in the Methodist Church but moved to the Episcopal Church with my family as a high schooler. Even after joining an Episcopal Church with my family in high school, I wrote about the United Methodist Hymnal for an admissions essay and went on to attend a Methodist seminary, Perkins School of Theology in Dallas, for a Masters of Sacred Music and Virginia Theological Seminary for a Masters of Divinity.
I live with my spouse Brad who is a member of the Air National Guard, our daughter, Larkin, who is a first, and two rescue dogs, Chili and Frank. Before becoming a seminarian, I was a church musician, a parish administrator, and Development Coordinator at the Washington National Cathedral for four years. I was ordained in the Diocese of Virginia this year.

The Rev. Kevin Veitinger

Hello! My name is Father Kevin Veitinger. I've spent the better part of 20 years ministering in a myriad of capacities. I came to All Saints' Episcopal from The Episcopal Community of St. Joseph where I served as a missioner to the homeless community in Savannah, GA. Before my switch to the Episcopal Church, I was the pastor of The Foundery Coffee Pub and SCAD Wesley Foundation, a ministry aimed at college-aged youth in Savannah. I was ordained in the South Georgia Conference of the United Methodist Church in 2013. In 2019, I was ordained to the Diaconate of the Episcopal Diocese of Georgia and later to the priesthood of the same Diocese. I earned my bachelor’s degree in Family and Child Sciences with a concentration in Adolescent Development and Psychology from Florida State University in 2000 and later attended Asbury Theological Seminary and the Sewanee University of the South, School of Theology for my priest formation.

Music has been a key outlet for me through the years and was a vehicle for my ministry early on. I have played in bands since I was in middle school, most recently playing for the punk bands Jeff Two-Names and Bobby Edge. Having grown up in a college town, I am also a big sports fan, but I am most passionate about the beautiful game. I married my wife Ginger in 1998 in my home church in Tallahassee, Florida. We have two adult children, Sydney and Jordan.
